Objectives

  • To make communications, maths and IT learning available to Oxfordshire NHS staff whose access to workplace learning is otherwise limited
  • To help Oxfordshire NHS organisations take a strategic approach to this area of workforce development
  • To contribute to research and development (Oxfordshire Skills for Health is currently part of the National Research and Development Centre for Adult Literacy and Numeracy’s workplace research programme)
  • To support the development of the NHSU Skills for Life and Health portfolio. (NHSU is a corporate university focusing solely on training and education for the NHS).
